Note: | The South Vent channel was wet on my arrival and remained that way. Some quiet periods with just splashes, but improved as the hour went on. The best concerted minor was at 1059, with a North Vent center bounce. (Activity lessened after that minor, but started to improve again near the end of the hour.) North had some somewhat tall thin bursts, but South was shorter (and harder to see due to wind direction). Some of the minors lasted several seconds. Only one or two minors made audible runoff. (There was also a steady trickle of water down the front channel, but may have been due to a small spouter uphill.) |
