Note: | Arrived to see the start of a strong minor that was full all across and that included lengthy water in the center. It lasted 20 seconds or more. (I lost count.) It was not as high nor as strong as I would have liked to see, but certainly made me smile! Certainly a step in the right direction. The follow-up minor was not as strong. The hour was about 70% concerted, with North stronger and with more volume and height than yesterday. South Vent is dumping out decent water, but is mostly only a few feet tall (except during strong minors.). There were a couple of babbling brooks at ~1215. (North was wide and tall but no center.) Addendum: 1251-1253 At Steerage, I heard & saw 2 good minors with babbling brook runoff. The water was sending pebbles down and also making dents in the sand at the trough. |
