Note:February 20 1982 - no time noted - Steamboat Geyser is splashing very heavily. About every 1 1/2- 2 minutes it puts up a very heavy surge of H2O that lasts ~ 15 seconds. The splashes are so heavy that they are causing runoff in the channel. This is the most powerful splashing that I’ve every [sic] seen out of it. Go Steamboat!
