| Note: | 05/30/1978 Steamboat Geyser was very active this morning. When I was on my morning check of the geysers I caught a 60 to 70’ bursts out of the northwest vent at 9:30. Water was running down the hill at a gallon a minute. Runoff continued down hill throughout the day but splashing activity diminished as people from Mammoth showed up and the day wore on. |
