| Note: | 07/23/1976 Steamboat Activity - During the noon walk today play was witnessed from both the north and south vents of the feature. Spray from both vents exceeded 50 ft. This activity from Steamboat lasted approximately 30 seconds. Time 1215. Additional notes I have noticed that some young lodge pole pines near the overlook have continued to “brown out”. It would appear that the ground under these small trees may be heating up. |
