| Note: | 13 May 1964 0850am West vent of Steamboat more active, throwing squirts or jets of water 20 feet. Average Interval: 34.3sec Average Duration: 12.0sec = 3:40 PM AI 32.5sec AD 10.5sec = 7:00 – 9:00 PM East vent played several times with considerable force to height of 60-70 feet. West vent splashed & squirted with almost every eruption at 8:10 PM a solid burst from the east vent went 30’ high. West vent more active than previously noted. |
