| Note: | 05/18/1976 Finally saw an eruption of Echinus after sundown tonight. Pool fills slowly, suspect it is on a long cycle. Eruption occurs about the time the turtle-back rock is covered preceded by little fanfare. Eruption fairly long, estimate around 4-5 minutes. Height unobservable due to steam. |
