| Note: | 05/23/1972 {no time= morning} When I came above Ebony this morning I noticed that the water level was high in the mouth of this geyser. The level continued rising and activity became more vigorous until Bear Den began erupting when the water once again drained back down. Although there was no run-off from Ebony only a slight amount more rise in the water level would have been necessary in order to have run-off. This might account for the lost marker on May 19,1982 |
