Note: | 10/09/1964 Steamboat, on the 10th day, still looks promising. From 8:43 am to 9:13 am, the south vent played 21 times – the north vent 13 times. Both vents played to 30 feet or so at 9:12 am. The pattern was the same from 9:54 am to 10:24 am as the south vent played 19 times & the north vent 11 times. From 1:48 pm to 2:15 pm, it was south 13 plays & north 6. From 4:27 pm to 4:57 pm, the south vent shot 21 bursts, the north vent 5. There was little runoff in the main runoff channel. Few, if any, bursts reached 40 feet. The water level in the north vent is at least 10 feet down. A puzzler. |
