Comments: | Started having good vertical surges from North Vent at 1327. South Vent surges produced babbling brook runoff but not huge until the surge leading into the eruption at 1411. During the eruption surge, North Vent had a huge vertical that was over 90 degrees and angling toward South Vent! Reminded me of the reverse jetting seen in Giant. North Vent got dirty a few minutes into the eruption and threw many huge rocks as well as twigs! Tara and Jeff calculated the height of one rock thrown at 340 feet. |
