Comments: | No mud! Few rocks! Louder thunder than previous I've witnessed! Wind from N-NE blew spray down runoff channel and toward Echinus. It also pushed a wall of water from the first big surge toward the lower platform that pushed chairs from the front to the back of it according to HK and Suzanne. Had they not left they'd have gotten seriously drenched. Left side of hill stayed DRY! NV Splash zone turned white during water phase due to zero water landing there. Rainbows from Echinus area! Most beautiful! Too steamy to tell when steam phase started. NV went to steam around 10 minutes in based on sound. Some said it went back to water shortly after. |
